Monday 16th May 2022

On Friday evening our choir took part in the amazing Young Voices concert at Sheffield Arena. We had a fab time and the children really did party the night away !

Y6 SATS

Last week our Y6 children sat their end of KS2 SATS. They approached these tests with so much maturity and positivity we were extremely proud of every single one of them.

Thank you to all the members of stuff who helped to make sure that the children were at ease during the week.

Our Lady of Fatima

The 13th of May was the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima. We remembered how, during the First World War, Our Lady appeared to three children in Fatima, Portugal. This wonderful event reminds us how change is wrought through faith and pray.

May the 20th

This year we have again registered with Aid to the Church in Need Maisy Milk Rosary for Peace initiative and pledged that we would say one decade of the rosary each day from Monday 16th May. This means that we will pray 10 000 Hail Mary's asking for Our Lady’s intercession and protection for peace in our world.

We have been kindly gifted 100 rosaries form the Initiative. If your child has their own rosary at home, please could they bring them into school next week.

On Friday 20th May we will end the week with a special day dedicated to Mary. The children have been asked to wear a blue top/t-shirt or jumper and also bring in a few flowers to present to Mary. During the afternoon we will have an assembly led by a representative from Aid to the Church in Need supported by the Liturgy Leaders. The First Holy Communion children will be present in their beautiful outfits as we continue to celebrate their special day.

This week our superstars are Joseph E, Ollie, Ose, Rose and Anastasia.

Thank You

A huge thank you to Mr Exley for making our beautiful flower containers and also to Bob Worm of Events Collective Ltd for providing the gorgeous flowers.

Hopefully you have all seen them, if not here are some photos....
