Friday the 29th of April

It does seem quite strange to be having a Bank Holiday weekend, so soon after returning to school.

I hope that you all have a lovely time with family and friends and also that the sun returns !

I look forward to seeing the children back in school on Tuesday the 3rd of May.

So far we have already raised £85.00 for this fantastic cause, and we still have lots of smarties left to sell !

This week's Language Legend is Sophie Y4 for being an excellent role model to the rest of the class and perfect pronunciation in French.

As you know we have trialled a new system this week for our virtual parent evenings. We did send out a questionnaire earlier in the year to find out your preferences in terms of parent evening meetings and continuing with the virtual format was the overwhelming preference.

We have had much positive feedback to say how effective this system was. Thank you to everyone who has already had their appointment for bearing with us. Thanks also to Mrs Budd for ensuring the smooth introduction of the new system.

Next week the sessions are on Tuesday the 3rd of May.

This week we have explored the virtues of Perseverance and Resilience.

"I will not give up. I will have faith and hope, even when things are difficult."

In today's assembly, we all thought about a time when we felt fed up, and it was difficult to carry on. We discussed our strengths and how our faith gives us the perseverance to carry on.

Our Liturgy Leaders, then gave each child a fish template, so that we could all write our own prayer to Our Blessed Lord to help us to show perseverance in our own lives.
