Friday the 18th of March 2022

Saturday is the feast day of our patron saint, Saint Joseph.

On Friday, we had a whole school celebration in honour of St Joseph. Mrs Harrand and our liturgy leaders led a whole school liturgy telling us all many interesting facts about St Joseph.

We then had a fantastic bun sale, with all proceeds going to the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.

Our day ended with extra playtime in the sunshine !

Wear Blue and Yellow for Ukraine !

The children all looked absolutely amazing on Friday in their outfits of yellow and blue. Thank you to all of our families for your generous donations -

together we raised a staggering amount of £601.60

We shall send these donations to CAFODS, Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal

The children have had a very exciting week, taking part in lots of interesting and in some cases very challenging science investigations. It has been wonderful to visit the classes and discuss the experiments with the children - you could not fail to be impressed.

On Thursday , we had our science fair in the school hall. Groups of children discussed their class experiments to other children, it was amazing !

There really was a great buzz in school the children loved it. Thanks to Mrs Reid and Mrs Loveridge for organising this event.

This week's Language Legend is Sophia from Y5 for producing excellent work in French and showing a good example to the rest of the class.
