We only have one piece of news this week, one that has saddened and shocked all of us.
Last week we received some extremely sad news, that Mr Barnsley who was a caretaker here for many years, had passed away.
Mr Barnsley was known and loved by many of us, and I am sure that you will all join us in sending your prayers and thoughts to Mrs Barnsley and her family at this sad time.
Mr Barnsley's funeral shall take place on our last day of term, at the City Road Crematorium. The family have asked that everyone who attends the funeral dresses in bright colours on this day to celebrate his life.
Mr Barnsley's funeral procession shall pass by our school and the older children and staff shall stand outside as a mark of respect as he passes by.
Here at school, we are asking that all the children dress as brightly as they can in their own clothes on the last day of term, they can even wear their SUFC kits , let's make Mr Barnsley proud !
