St Joseph's Academy Parent Portal - Merry Christmas 2018

It has been a fantastic week to end a fantastic term !

Monday started, with a Christmas treat .. the circus came to visit St Joseph's school. Great fun was had by all !

KS2 Carol Concert :

On Tuesday the KS2 children delighted us all with their wonderful singing and reading.

All of the Nativities and Advent Assemblies have been wonderful this year. They have really made us think about the true meaning of Christmas.

South Yorkshire Police Inspiring Youth Award

We were incredibly proud of all of our children who participated in the SYP Inspiring Youth Programme.

St Joseph's are the only primary school in the whole of the UK, who run this programme.

It really was lovely to welcome back some of our past pupils and parents for this special awards ceremony.

Many thanks to PC Dev and Chief Inspector Turner for all of their support this year.

Party Time

All of the children have enjoyed their Christmas parties .

Thank you to all of our parents for your contributions of party food and drink.

Elf Day

Last Friday the school was taken over by Santa's elves ! All of the children and teachers disappeared !

Many thanks to our friendly FRIENDS of St Joseph's elves, for doing our special "Gift Day," too.

Our Christmas Stable

Please spend some time with your children looking at our Christmas Stable in the playground.

It really has been a great Autumn Term.

In September we were absolutely delighted with the outcomes of our OFSTED Inspection. Our secure GOOD grade, really acknowledged all of the hard work and commitment of our whole staff team and also the behaviour and attitude of our wonderful children.

As the Inspector said, we are on an "exciting journey," at St Joseph's. There have been many changes in a short space of time which are having a real positive impact on the opportunities and future outcomes for all of our children.
