Friday 23rd May 2025

It’s been a very busy half-term, and we are all ready for our break! We hope that you all have a wonderful week with friends and family. We look forward to seeing the children back in school on Tuesday, 3rd June.

Parking Patrol in Action!

Last Thursday, Courtney from the Good Parking, Bad Parking scheme joined some of our school councillors and Year 6 pupils for a special parking patrol mission.

The team was out in force, rewarding responsible drivers with “Good Parking” tickets and, unfortunately, issuing a few “Bad Parking” tickets too. Thanks to their efforts, three cars that were unsafely parked were moved to more appropriate spots — a real success in keeping our school community safer.

The team will be back out again soon, and we’re hoping to see lots more “Good Parking” tickets next time around!

Thank you for your continued support. All our parking initiatives are aimed at one important goal: keeping everyone — especially our children — safe outside school.

Y6 had lots of fun with Jamie Cooke from the Rotherham Titans this morning!

Ice Pop Fridays – Coming Soon! 🍭☀️

After the half-term holiday, we’ll be selling ice pops every Friday after school on the playground.

It’s a fun way to end the week and help raise funds for our school — and hopefully, the sun will be shining too! 🌞

Don’t forget to bring a little change and enjoy a cool treat to kick off the weekend.

Thank you for your continued support!

We would like to invite you to join us for our Marian Procession, which will take place on Friday the 9th of June at 1:30pm. This is a special tradition in our school calendar where we come together as a school and parish family to honour Our Lady.

The procession will begin in the school grounds and will include prayers, hymns, and the crowning of Mary. We encourage all children to bring a small flower to carry during the procession, which they will offer as part of the celebration. The children are also asked to wear a blue top for this occasion.

Following the procession, cream teas will be available for purchase in the school hall. We shall be selling delicious cream scones, supplied by Bloomers of Bakewell. We warmly invite you to stay and enjoy our beautiful grounds and some refreshments with us, following the procession. All proceeds will go towards supporting school activities and resources.

We hope to see many of you there for this meaningful and enjoyable event.
