13th December 2024

Year 4 led our second whole school advent assembly in church. The children were wonderful. They sang, spoke and acted beautifully. We were extremely proud of them all.

Thank you to Fr Mark for again allowing us to use our beautiful church and for all of our visitors who helped to make the occasion extra special.

Reception and KS1 Nativity Performances

This week we have been completely blown away by our talented Reception and KS1 children. All the Nativity performances have been excellent. We hope that if you were able to visit, you enjoyed them as much as we did.

Year 5 visit to Cannon Hall

Our Y5's had an amazing and immersive experience on their trip to Cannon Hall on Wednesday, acting as servants working in a stately home. The children were able to make soup, bread, apple pie and sugar mice all from scratch for lunch, washing clothes using a Mangle, working in the Larder making butter from cream, making Lavender bags and finally having a tour of the house. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves and embraced every minute of our time at Cannon Hall.

The staff at Cannon Hall were extremely impressed by the children's behaviour and beautiful manners. We couldn't be prouder of our wonderful Y5 children.

Well done toY3 for their outstanding attendance this week !

The holiday season is fast approaching!  While we hope you’re excited to kick back, relax, and enjoy some well-earned rest with friends and family, it’s still vitally important that we do all we can to safeguard the children and young people in our care over the festive period.

However, it can be tricky to know what specific steps we can take to ensure our Christmas break is as calm and risk-free as possible. This advice should be helpful in keeping our children safe during the festive season.

A huge huge thank you to our PTA and volunteers who helped with our Christmas disco. The children all had a great time !
