Our Curriculum
During Summer Term, we will be covering a range of exciting topics.
Maths Mastery - Transformations, Units of Measure, Decimals, 2D and 3D shape, Volume
English – Based around the quality text 'Boy In The Tower' by Polly Ho-Yen. This book is not only a wonderful literary text, but has cross curricular links in many areas, including aspects of mental health. We will link a lot of our PSHE lessons to this book.
Science – Living Things and Habitats and Animals including Humans
RE – Pentecost, Reconciliation and Stewardship
Topic - Indus Valley and Passion for Fashion
PE - Swimming
Home Learning - Maths and English homework will usually be set on Learning With Parents and children will have either 1 week or 2 weeks to complete this. The website can be found here https://www.mathswithparents.com/
The children have been given their Times Table Rockstars usernames and passwords for them to practice at home. You can access the website here https://ttrockstars.com/
