Governing Board

The role of the governing board is to be a critical friend of the school. We work as a team along with the teaching and the non-teaching staff in order to ensure we provide education at a high standard in a warm and friendly environment in keeping with the teachings of Christ.

The core responsibilities of the governing board are:

1. To ensure the clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction of the school.
2. To hold the Head teacher to account for the educational performance of the school and its pupils.
3. To oversee the financial performance of the school and ensure the money is well spent.

We have four full governing board meetings alongside a minimum of two-three subcommittee meetings per academic year.
